
This was another Goodwill quilt find- a crib size quilt that gave me just enough fabric for a coat for my daughter. $7.49!

I used a simple Burda kids pattern and it was a very easy sew.
Kids clothes are a great confidence booster for me, because the only adjustment I had to make was rounding out the hood point from the pattern so my daughter doesn’t look like a garden gnome.
I did not consciously plan out which panels went where, but I got extremely lucky that it looked like purposeful choices!


The deals on thrifted quilts help trick myself into thinking this is a “thrifty” hobby….
