First repair: Revisited these pajama pants that were one of my first makes. I switched out the waistband elastic to a slightly wider elastic that more completely fills the casing, then stitched down the waistband to look more finished. They wear more comfortably now and look less like a first project. I also realized why my saguaro set elastic didn’t look perfect, the casing was too big. The more you know..

Second repair: I didn’t realize for a day, but I had caught a fold in the collar stitching from my collared shirt, so I picked that out and restitched. A secret about this shirt… I never stitched the collar on the inside down. The pattern said to hand sew a slip stitch to do that, but I was feeling lazy so I used the machine and stitched in the ditch. Looks good enough! It was bothersome to have hanging in my closet, knowing I had unfinished business with this shirt.

And instead of taping together PDF patterns from my home printer like some peasant, I had the patterns printed at a copy shop! Those arrived and they feel so luxurious. I cut out a jumpsuit pattern and am excited to get started on it!
